Status
From the reports that we have gathered, since March 2014 it is no longer possible to use BT Sport outside of the United Kingdom on the iPad or iPhone as the app requires you turn ON your device's GPS service (Location Services) for it to work correctly.

Please note that our VPN service only spoofs your IP addresses and it cannot modify your devices' GPS location which is required by some TV apps to work. Unfortunately, this is something that cannot be circumvented by any VPN service and it looks like it can only be done by rooting the device, as per the discussion in the forum link below:

Note: Apart from iOS, BT Sport still works with other systems such as Windows, OSX, Android etc.

Jailbreaking/Rooting Your Device

However if you have a jailbroken/rooted device, you can certainly download apps that will allow GPS modification on your device.

Caution: Be warned however, that some apps are designed to stop functioning if it detects that your device is jailbroken. Therefore, we at My Private Network do not recommend that you jailbreak your device as this may cause unintended issues with some apps on your device. Jailbreaking/Rooting your device will also put it at risk in terms of security and potentially void your devices' warranty.

However, if you accept all the risks involved and you're still interested in pursuing the rooted/jailbroken option, kindly visit the link below for further information.
