If you wish to download region restricted apps such as Hulu (USA) or BBC iPlayer (UK), you will need to change your App Store / iTunes region to reflect your intended location.

You would have to create a new account with them in order switch your App Store or iTunes region. To do this in a Windows computer, please follow the steps below:


Note: If you're using the latest version of iTunes software, i.e. version 12.7 and above, please click here and follow the instructions.

1 - Download and install iTunes here.

2 - Locate the App Store inside iTunes.

3 - Scroll down until you see Top Free Apps at the right side of the store and select one of the apps and click on Get.

4 - There should be a popup prompting you to key in your Apple ID, select Create Apple ID.

5 - On the Welcome to App Store screen, click on Continue.

6 - Read through the agreement outlined, tick on 'I have read and agree to these terms and conditions' and then click on Agree.

7 - Fill in the details and click on Continue.

8 - If you would like to change your region, click on Click Here on the line where it says "If the billing address of the payment information is not in XXX" whereby XXX is the region of the previous logged in App Store account. Then, on the dropdown menu, select the region you would like to have this account set to and click on Change. You would have to repeat step 7 to 8 after this.

9 - If you have a credit card you’d like to use in the App Store, please enter the neccessary details accordingly. Otherwise, if you don’t have or don't want to link your card, simply select None.

10 - You would also need to enter the billing address according to the region that you've selected.

11 - After making sure the details entered is correct, click on Create Apple ID.

12 - Your App Store account that you've created will now be set to region that you've selected and you should be able to search and download the restricted apps such as Hulu (USA), ABC (USA), etc.
