On July 5th 2016 at 0500 GMT, we will be updating the settings on our alternate SSL OpenVPN connections, namely the UDP 1194 and the TCP connections that you might have been installed manually either by yourselves or by our technicians during remote sessions.

The update will commence on the 5th of July 2016 at 0500 GMT(0) and if you've been using the alternate connections, you will need to download our latest Windows OpenVPN application from our website in order to continue being able to connect.

NOTE: Our standard OpenVPN (UDP 80), PPTP, L2TP connections on Windows are not affected by this change and will continue to work as normal. However, if you have been using the SSL OpenVPN application for your connection, we highly suggest that you update the application as it uses the latest best practices for a better overall experience.

NOTE: PLEASE DO NOT UPDATE THE APP BEFORE 0500GMT ON THE 5TH OF JULY 2016 AS THE UPDATED ALTERNATE CONNECTIONS WILL NOT WORK BEFORE THIS DATE.

To proceed with the update, you will first need to uninstall the application from your Windows system following the steps in the Knowledge Base article below:

Once that is done, head on to our Get Started instructions here on installing the latest updated application on your Windows computer:
