Sabai OS is a propietary third-party operating system (OS) for wireless routers. It is developed specifically for VPN usage, and is based on the Tomato firmware.

Sabai OS comes either pre-installed with certain router models distributed directly from Sabai Technology, or as a downloadable software package thaty ou can install on a compatible router. As it is offered as an out-of-the-box solution, it also comes with configurations for most VPN services, making the process of setting up incredibly easy. It also has a unique dual gateway geature, which allows devices to be connected to the VPN connection or the local connection without the need a separate, secondary router.

By using a Sabai OS router, any of your devices that are connected to your router's network will be securely-routed through our service.

Devices without native VPN support will greatly benefit from this, such as:

  • Freesat Set Top Boxes
  • TV Box (i.e Roku, etc.)
  • Game Consoles (ie PS3, PS4, Xbox, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Wii, etc.)
  • Internet radio players
  • Network music players i.e. Sonos, Logitech Squeezebox etc.
  • Some version of smartphones
  • ...and pretty much anything else with a network connection.

Sabai OS also supports a number of VPN protocols that we use: OpenVPN and PPTP.

All these added functionalities sound great!

However, please keep in mind that installing Sabai OS (or any other third-party firmware/OS) will void your router's warranty
