Unlike its current generation counterpart, the Xbox 360 is a strictly region locked console.

Because of this, downloading certain games and apps will require a valid IP address from their respective regions.

What this means is unless you have an IP that originates from the country that the app is locked to, you will not be able to download the app.

Please note that our DNS service works fine with the applications that we support, however to actually download the apps themselves takes a bit of work and will require that you have an IP address that shows you're in the region locked app's location.

While we do not provide a VPN service ourselves, you're more than welcome to drop by our sister site, My Private Network and subscribe to a VPN plan there. Please note that to download UK apps, you'll need a UK VPN subscription and to download USA based apps, you'll need a USA VPN subscription.

Additionally, once you have a valid VPN subscription, you'll need to set up the VPN on a separate device and then route the Xbox network through that. You'll need to do this because the console itself does not support VPN or proxies. From our experience, we'd recommend that you use a secondary router running DD-WRT firmware to establish the VPN connection and then connect the Xbox 360 to this.

Please note that you'll need to stay connected to the VPN during the entire download process. If the VPN is somehow disconnected during the download, the app will be corrupted and you'll need to run the download again or you will not be able to utilise the app.

If you are still having problems, please email us at support@simpletelly.com , and try to include any errors and a full description of the fault.

We'll get back to you as soon as possible.
